Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through plix.fun, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can control it. We wrote it to be readable β if anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain it.
1. Who we are
PLIX FUN Inc. ("PLIX", "we", "us") is the controller of the personal data described below. Our EIN is 38-4387823.
- Postal address: 3 Germay Drive, Unit 4 #3147, Wilmington, DE 19804, USA
- Contact for privacy matters and everything else: hello@plix.fun
We offer our website to visitors worldwide. Where the GDPR (EU/EEA), the UK GDPR, the LGPD (Brazil) or US state privacy laws apply to you, this policy is written to meet them.
2. What data we collect
- Waitlist data. The email address you submit, the form it came from, and the date and time of your signup and of your confirmation click.
- Traffic source. The campaign parameters in the link you arrived from (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content) and the referring website, so we know which channels work. - Usage data. If you allow analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location at country level, device type, browser, and how you move through the site.
- Advertising data. If you allow marketing cookies: an advertising identifier set by Reddit or Meta, used to measure our campaigns and to show you PLIX ads.
- Messages. Anything you write to us by email or social media, so we can reply.
We do not ask for, and do not want, special-category data (health, beliefs, biometrics) or payment card details. The website does not process payments.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR/UK GDPR) |

| Keep proof that consent was given, and honour unsubscribes | Consent records, suppression list | Legal obligation β art. 6(1)(c), and art. 7(1) accountability. |
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of essential cookies, plus analytics and advertising technologies that only run with your permission. Full detail β names, providers, durations β is in our Cookie Policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from cookie settings.
In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Brazil nothing non-essential loads until you accept. Elsewhere these technologies run by default and you can opt out at any time; we also honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal everywhere.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it with the service providers that operate the site on our behalf, each bound by a data processing agreement:
| Provider | What it does | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Website hosting and delivery | United States |
| Supabase Inc. | Database storing the waitlist | United States |
| Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) | Sends our confirmation and newsletter emails | United States |
| Google LLC | Google Analytics 4 β audience measurement | United States |
| Reddit Inc. | Reddit Ads pixel β campaign measurement | United States |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. | Meta pixel β campaign measurement (when campaigns are running) | United States |
We may also disclose data if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or to a buyer if PLIX is acquired β in which case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
6. International transfers
PLIX is a US company and the providers above are located in the United States, so data about visitors from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Brazil is transferred outside those territories. Those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum where relevant), or on the provider’s certification under the EUβUS Data Privacy Framework, together with the additional safeguards agreed in each contract. Write to us at hello@plix.fun for a copy of the mechanism used for a given provider.
7. How long we keep it
- Waitlist: until you unsubscribe, or after 24 months with no interaction with our emails, whichever comes first.
- Unconfirmed signups: deleted after 90 days if the confirmation link is never clicked.
- Unsubscribe records: kept indefinitely, in minimised form, so that we never email you again by mistake.
- Proof of consent: up to 5 years after the consent ends, to be able to demonstrate it if challenged.
- Analytics: 14 months in Google Analytics.
8. Your rights
If the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the LGPD applies to you, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what we did before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of them, email hello@plix.fun. We reply within one month. You do not need a specific form of words, and we will not charge you. Unsubscribing takes one click on the link at the bottom of any email.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your data protection authority β in Spain the AEPD, in the UK the ICO, and in other countries the equivalent regulator. We would appreciate the chance to fix it first.
9. US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion or correction, to receive a copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
In the last 12 months we collected these CCPA/CPRA categories: identifiers (email address, IP address, advertising IDs), internet activity (pages viewed, referring site) and inferences drawn for audience measurement. We collect no sensitive personal information.
We do not sell personal information for money. Using advertising pixels does count as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA. To opt out, use Your privacy choices or enable Global Privacy Control in your browser β we honour that signal automatically.
10. Children's privacy
PLIX makes a product families use together, but this website and our mailing list are for adults. You must be at least 18 to sign up. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (US, COPPA) or under 16 (EEA), and we do not target advertising at them.
If you believe a child has given us their data, write to hello@plix.fun and we will delete it promptly.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the waitlist database is access-controlled and encrypted at rest by our provider, and only the people who need it can read it. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not promise absolute protection β but if a breach ever affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
12. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect, and where the change relies on consent we will ask you again.
